Downtown Sandpoint is a bustling, vibrant place! Here are just some of the major events happening through June… but these are just the big ‘uns! Be sure to click to our Sandpoint Calendars for many more events ’round our town.

Farmers Market. Come shop garden starts, fresh produce, artisan goods and enjoy live entertainment in Farmin Park every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. And, there’s a smaller market every Wednesday as well, 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m. SandpointFarmersMarket.com

Lost in the 50s. It’s Sandpoint’s biggest party of the year! This annual retro celebration runs May 16-19 and includes a downtown car parade and show, music events at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, and more. Get the whole schedule at Sandpoint.org/Lostin50s

Memories of a Legend with Jerry Kramer. Sandpoint native and former SHS, UI Green Bay Packer right tackle Jerry Kramer and friends will be telling stories on each other May 22 at the Panida Theater. Kramer played under legendary Green Bay coach Vince Lombardi and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame this year. Panida.org

Bay Trail Fun Run. Take a run, or just a leisurely stroll, down the gorgeous Pend d’Oreille Bay Trail for either a 5k and 10k distance. Starts and ends at City Beach on June 9. POBTrail.org

CHAFE 150 Bike Ride. One of the premier road rides in the region, this June 15 ride starts and ends at City Beach with drop-dead gorgeous routes of 30, 40, 80, 100 and 150 miles, as well as a 4-mile family fun ride. Challenge yourself (or, just show up for the after party). CHAFE150.org

Yappy Hour. It’s a tail-waggin’ good time! Bring your canine friend June 27 to enjoy live music, beverages, and fun with other dogs and dog owners. At Greasy Fingers Bikes N Repair, 108 N. Third Ave. downtown. PASIdaho.org

Summer Sampler. Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual tasting event June 27 in Farmin Park, as area restaurants provide tastes of fine cuisine, with entertainment, raffles and live music. SandpointChamber.org

ArtWalk. Pend Oreille Arts Council will put on its 42nd annual art stroll June 28, taking participants to see art at 20-plus downtown galleries around town, with opening receptions at each location, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ArtinSandpoint.org.
