Finan McDonald Clothing Company opened it’s doors in downtown Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1987. Starting out as a different kind of men’s store, it specialized in natural fiber clothing with an outdoorsy look and feel. It was a hit almost immediately and women started asking for a similar look for themselves. Soon thereafter, Finan also began carrying women’s apparel.
